The project involved an upgrade of the basketball court, ensuring a safe and modern playing surface suitable for training and competitive matches.
Alongside the renovation, the association donated multiple sets of jerseys to boost team spirit and foster a sense of pride among current student athletes.
The President of the Tamale Senior High School Old Students Association, Major Albert Don Chebe (retired), emphasized the importance of sports in holistic student development. He said their vision is to inspire current students to excel not only academically but also in sports.
The Board Chairman of the Ghana Commercial Bank and member of the old student’s association, Professor Joshua Alabi, urged the students to take their studies seriously. He said discipline is crucial in attaining life’s goals.
The school’s basketball coach thanked the old student’s association and pledged to work harder to bring honor and glory to the school.
