The President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and General Secretary, Prosper Harrison Addo, are in Miami, Florida, attending the 2025 FIFA Executive Football Summit.
The high-level event is taking place at the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside and brings together the leadership of FIFA and senior football officials from around the world for strategic discussions on the future of global football.
The summit serves as a key platform for dialogue among FIFA officials, representatives from the six continental confederations, and member association leaders. The gathering focuses on shaping global football policies and fostering collaboration to drive the game’s development at all levels.
The summit also featured interactive sessions, where Presidents and General Secretaries of Football Associations had the opportunity to provide feedback, share best practices, and contribute ideas aimed at advancing the global football ecosystem.
The knowledge and networks gained are expected to positively influence Ghana’s football development strategies, particularly in areas of youth engagement, women’s football, football IT advancement, and grassroots infrastructure.
FIFA President Infantino opened the Summit, stating the enormous gains made so far under the vision and the plans to further develop all areas of football, especially Women’s football and youth talent identification and development across the ecosystem to make football truly global.
