ACCRA:  3RD ROKA INVITATIONAL MARATHON HELD

The event, organized by Roka International School with support from the Ghana Armed Forces Physical Training and sports Directorate, welcomed students aged 4 to 14 — competing in different categories: Kindergarten, Lower Primary, Upper Primary, and Junior High.

Each group took on distances ranging from 1 kilometer to 3 kilometers, showcasing impressive endurance and determination. Both boys and girls gave it their all, with many showing promising talent.

Tokens including medals, certificates and souvenirs from sponsors were presented to athletes that finished in the top 3 in the various divisions. The organizer of the Roka Invitational marathon, Mrs. Beatrice Kissiwaa Osei said the turnout was fantastic.

The Chairman of the Roka Invitational marathon, Apostle Dr. Michael Narh said they will encourage more schools outside Accra to participate.

The head coach of the Ghana Armed Forces Athletics team, W01 Moro Salifu, says he was thrilled by the potential on display. The Roka ABN Invitational Marathon continues to grow, proving to be not just a race — but an inspiration for the next generation of Ghanaian athletes.
