Q_tbg and KQ Collaborate on 'Heavy' to Promote Mental Health Awareness

Both artists have had a very active year filled with music releases like Q_tbg's "Wave" and KQ's "Support Is All We Got" and events like Q_tbg's "5 Years Clean Tour" and KQ's eminent rise in the Ghanaian DJ and producer industry. Both being advocates for better mental health, It only makes sense that earlier this month they came together to drop a better mental health piece titled, "Heavy".

Q_tbg and KQ Collaborate on 'Heavy' to Promote Mental Health Awareness

Both artists have had a very active year filled with music releases like Q_tbg's "Wave" and KQ's "Support Is All We Got" and events like Q_tbg's "5 Years Clean Tour" and KQ's eminent rise in the Ghanaian DJ and producer industry. Both being advocates for better mental health, It only makes sense that earlier this month they came together to drop a better mental health piece titled, "Heavy".

On this new KQ x Danny Raph produced track, Q_tbg floats over the 90s inspired boom bap rhythm talking about his own depression and how others dealt with theirs. He narrates a scene about how he witnessed people saying good things at the funeral of a friend that lost her life to suicide and how they should have been saying it before she died and maybe she wouldn't have taken her life.

This track seems to seek to remind us that we're all humans experiencing moments of good and bad but we can make the good outweigh the bad by just being nicer to each other because you never know what another person is going through.
