The innovative Girls for Goals initiative, a dynamic project aimed at promoting gender equality through the power of sports, education, and healthy living, is set to culminate in a grand final event on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Adaklu Waya in the Volta Region.
Launched as a collaborative effort between the Ghana Football Association (GFA), FIFA, La Guilde, and GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit), the project has successfully engaged young people across the Adaklu District, Keta, and Ho Municipalities—empowering them with life-changing experiences both on and off the pitch.
The final leg of the program will feature a Student Forum and Community Engagement Session at Adaklu Waya, bringing together stakeholders, educators, and youth for a vibrant exchange of ideas and inspiration.
