Breaking: Dampare sacked, COP Yohonu appointed as new IGP
President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Commissioner of Police (COP) Christian Tetteh Yohonu as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP).
He replaces Dr George Akuffo Dampare, who has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.
