'Bank of Ghana wiped NFA accounts' – Juliet Asante exposes harassment and neglect
Renowned actress and former Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority (NFA), Juliet Yaa Asante, has disclosed that the Bank of Ghana withdrew funds from the NFA's accounts at the end of last year.
Asante explained that the money had been specifically raised to set up an office and acquire a vehicle for the National Film Authority.
The little money I managed to secure for an office and a car was taken from the accounts by the Bank of Ghana before we could make the necessary purchases, she revealed.
Beyond financial setbacks, Asante also endured verbal and sexual harassment during her tenure.
Despite her difficult experiences, Asante extended her congratulations to Kafui Danku, the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the NFA.
