Kalibi Volleyball Club men’s team opened their Greater Accra League campaign with a clash against Kasland Men VC at the Kawukudi Youth Center volleyball court.
Kalibi in the yellow jersey had a good start. They won the first set 25-14. They were fired up with home support. They won the second set 25-9. Kasland regrouped in the third set and took the lead but after reaching 13 points, Kalibi found their rhythm and fought back.
They put the icing on the cake with a 25-13 win. In the women’s match, the Kasland women faced a well-rehearsed side. Kalibi took the first set 25-2, the second set 25-8, and the final set 25-11.
