ACCRA: DRAW FOR 3RD WAFU B U-20 CUP OF NATIONS HELD

The WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations will take place in Accra this year. The competition will feature seven West African nations, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from July 10 to 23, 2025, at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram. This event serves as a key platform for nurturing young talent in the West African sub-region.

Originally scheduled to be held from June 15 to 30, 2025, the third edition of the championship has been rescheduled and will now run from July 10 to 23, 2025. All matches are expected to be hosted at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram, the premier football development facility Ghana.

The said competition will feature member countries of the WAFU Zone B after member nations from WAFU Zone A failed to meet organizational deadlines and expectations for participation.

The WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations serves as a vital platform for nurturing young talent and offers a critical pathway for qualification to continental tournaments such as the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
