The new 2025/26 MTN FA Cup will take off on the weekend of October 24, 2025, and come to an end on May 31, 2026.
The pronounced dates are in line with the 23rd FIFA World Cup, scheduled for June 11 to July 19, 2026, ensuring that all high domestic competitions conclude before the commencement of the global showpiece.
With Congress slated for August 12, 2025, the Ghana Football Association will ensure that the MTN FA Cup starts on time and ends in May 2026, in line with the approved FIFA calendar for all Member Associations.
However. some matches in the Round of 64 and the Round of 63 may be played midweek, while all the Women’s FA Cup matches will be played during weekends.
The GFA says, it is committed to the effective execution of this calendar to ensure a vibrant, competitive, and well-coordinated football season across all levels.
